Removed: XL Chart (Style) information is now embedded in the XL Chart (Types) Components
Removed: XL Chart Advanced (Analytics), XL chart has been edited to allow for formatting options
Removed: XL Data Out Basic (Data) has now been removed and replaced with a more compact XL Data Out component
Added: XL Sparklines (Analytics) allows for placement of a small in cell line or bar graph which charts the values of a single column or rows series
Added: XL Conditional Bar (Analytics) applies bar conditional formatting to a user specified range of cells, where each cells’s background becomes a bar reflecting its unitized value within the bounds of the range
Added: XL Pixel Component (App) extracts the on sheet pixel location of the upper left and lower right corners of a specified cell
Added: XL Record (Data) sequentially places an item or list of data in a sheet allowing for changes is data fed to the component to be recorded in excel.
Added: Graphics category houses components that place objects in excel that do not access, change, or require cell data.
Added: XL Picture (Graphics) places an image from a filepath at a given pixel location in excel
Added: XL SmartArt (Graphics) allows a list of information to be represented in a series of graphic format object types.
Added: New (Types) for formatting sparklines, and smartart objects. Both SmartArt and Chart objects have been broken down into categories of similar types to simplify selection.
Fixed: XL LIVE (App) component now functions with simple toggle, once toggled to true will maintain live link to sheet that was current at time of activation or until toggled again.
Fixed: All Origin and Bound inputs now consistently use point inputs where (X = Column, Y = Row, Z = Sheet Index). All “A” & “B” outputs now return corresponding A = Origin, B = Bound points.
Fixed: All Conditional Formatting components now consistently output colors or other values by Column
Fixed: XL Path (App) workbook input now assigns .xlsx extension if none is specified
Changed: XL Chart now XL Chart & Graph has removed several formatting features and now uses the standardized Fill, Line, Font, and Mark formatting types. Charts also now adjust the way formatting is used to match the end charts formatting types, example, Area charts keep point formatting for markers if assigned but average color values per series if point value as assigned.
Changed: XL Conditionals (Analytics) have had the input and output names standardized to reflect the function the serve. Tooltip descriptions are unique based on needs, but for example, the Value input is always the name of the numerical input which specifies the condition of the formatting, whether an integer for Count, a unitized double for percent, or a double value for Value based.
Changed: XL Clear (App) now has boolean inputs for specifying what type of content is to be cleared from the sheet, objects, data, formatting are all separated.
Changed: XL Data In Basic and Advanced (Data) now both output the A & B points where data has been taken from.
Changed: XL Data Out (Data) merged the two prior basic and advanced components and has simplified inputs, using new standard Fill, Line, Font formatting.
Changed: XL Fill (Styles) has been updated to provide fill formatting to now function for chart, smartart and cell inputs. Not all formatting options will be available for all target objects, for example cells do not have a bevel option.
Changed: XL Line & Border (Styles) now provides formatting for all line and border inputs, like Fill, not all Line’s options function for all target objects, for example, Inset is only valid for SmartArt and PerCell for cell formatting.
Changed: All Types components now output concatenated strings housing all the formatting information. This allows for a simpler correlation between the formatting options and the data it is to be applied to. As well as saving on redundant and costly functions in target components.
Changed: Pattern and Line types now integrate MSO and XL enumeration values for ease of interface between different components. However, not all pattern types are available under both systems, so closest approximations have been assigned for missing types. See, MSO vs XL comparison for more details.
Changed: Chart Types (Types) have been broken up into 4 categories based on the type of data and formatting requirements.
